YOYO NOSA
Danielle
Born and raised in the electric city of Las Vegas, Nevada, Yoyo Nosa is a dynamic actress and singer-songwriter whose artistry is as multifaceted as her heritage. The daughter of immigrant parents—her father hailing from Panama and her mother from Nigeria—Yoyo grew up in a household rich with culture, languages, and stories. This multicultural foundation ignited a lifelong passion for performance and storytelling, pushing her to explore the nuances of human experience through acting and music.
From the age of five, Yoyo found her voice on the stage, first through singing and later in theater, where she honed her craft. Her early theatrical experiences include embodying the pivotal role of Tituba in The Crucible (2016) under the direction of Rebecca Whittenburger and portraying Madame De Pompadour in Crumpled Classics (2015). Her versatility as an actress extends beyond the stage, having appeared in web news productions such as Clubhouse News: News Weekend (2015), Clubhouse News: The Chat (2016), and radio broadcasting as a co-host for Las Vegas' KCEP FM 88.1 - Teen Talk.
With a keen ability to adapt and connect with audiences across different mediums, Yoyo’s screen credits include roles in independent shorts such as You, Per Serving (2020) as Lisa Potts. Her work in commercial and digital productions, such as her appearance in the promotional campaign for "Brevite" and as a contestant on Date Drop (2020), showcase her dynamic screen presence.
Beyond her acting career, Yoyo has graced the stage as a singer-songwriter, opening for Fallapalooza with T-Pain (2019). She has also starred in her own music videos for her songs "Soulgood" and "Trust You". Her passion for music is not just a profession but a deeply ingrained part of her identity, with songwriting serving as an extension of her storytelling.
An eclectic soul with an insatiable curiosity for the world, Yoyo has lived and worked across China, Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, and South Africa as both an English instructor and a government employee. These international experiences have profoundly shaped her perspective and reinforced her belief in the arts as a powerful bridge for cultural understanding.
A self-proclaimed foodie, vinyl record enthusiast, and avid traveler, Yoyo finds inspiration in the diversity of human experiences and translates this into her performances. Whether on stage, in front of the camera, or through music, she strives to bring depth and authenticity to every role she embodies. With training from Loyola Marymount University in On-Screen Acting and an improvisational acting background from Cool Blue Talent, Yoyo continues to refine her craft and push artistic boundaries.
Through her work, Yoyo Nosa seeks not only to entertain but to illuminate the complex and often untold stories of individuals from all walks of life—stories that deserve to be heard, felt, and understood.
